Panzer Blitz: Hill Of Death another game played

Not much time for gaming this week (ie absolutely none) due to long shifts (cannot wait to retire in 34 months time !) but managed another Carentan scenario using PB:HOD with my Dad.

A real slog as Germans try to retake Carentan but constrained by narrow avenue of attack.

Panzer Blitz Hill Of Death game played

Played a game of new(ish) Panzer Blitz game with my Dad tonight.

We played a small scenario from the Carentan expansion to reacquaint ourselves with the rules.

It turned out to be a hard fought little scenario going right down to the last turn when I managed with the Yank Airbourne to take the required 3rd of 5 objective hexes.

Planning another scenario next week.

New game PanzerBlitz Hill Of Death

New board wargame arrived today (usual super fast delivery from Boardgameguru).
A game that has garmered mixed reviews but its genealogy and the subject matter is one I could not resist.
Only had time for briefest inspection of contents which all look fine.
The addiction continues.................
