Over in England with offspring so we had a day at Imperial War Museum which I have not visited in 20+ years.
Unsurprisingly a few changes but still a great day out, the Holocaust exhibit was particularly poignant (no photography allowed) and interestingly one of the monetary contributors noted on a plaque is Mr Roman Abramovitch which just emphasises the temporary nature of national ‘friendships’ and interests.

Lots opf great shots... from the 20th century section?
ReplyDeleteThe whole Museum is 1914 onwards nothing prior. Was opened after Great War and now includes other 20th Century conflicts. There are currently separate exhibits covering WW1, WW2, Cold War and the Holocaust with several sub exhibits within each section. My pics not in any order as I took them at various stages whilst touring around.
DeleteGreat pics. I must visit next time I'm over. Haven't been there in 40 years.
ReplyDeleteAnd still free. Only thing I recall from previous visits that was not there was Jagdpanther.
