Finished up a second unit of foot for Lasalle (and dolled up basing on first unit). Black Hat Fusilier figures painted and flagged as 2nd Silesian of 12th Regiment 1813. Used an Essex Miniature flag (and standard bearer) this time (Old Glory on the 2nd West Prussians) which is bit smaller but more colourful. All mounted on Mdf bases (from Pendraken) to which I am now a firm convert being so much stronger and uniform than old cardboard/beermat basing I have always used.2nd Silesian in attack column

Nicely done. I do like post 1806 Prussians. There's something very 'serious' about them!

ReplyDeleteThanks, I suspect with another 6 inf units (3 Reserve & 3 Landwehr some 150 figs) ) along with 2 large units of Currasiers (36 figs) plus 8 Artillery pieces and a couple of Generals it will be awhile before completion and thats just a basic '1 pick' Lasalle army.
Not to mention the myriad of other painting/gaming projects I have on conveyor belt !
Hope I don't go cross-eyed first :-)
