Managed a couple more card plays with Mockern scenario and Battle Command.
French are suffering a bit despite being better quality overall as Prussian numbers starting to tell and they have had a few superb volleys.
Pics with iPad in rather low light with which it can struggle

Looks a great game.
ReplyDeleteTis indeed
DeleteCracking update! Battle Command seems to be giving a very sharp solo game. Always satisfying when those Prussian volleys land just right to balance out the French quality!
ReplyDeleteAll the best, Andy
Battle Command works well for solo. Pity those Prussians fail to perform so well in face to face games :-)
DeleteA grand game and excellent part two. Masses of troops, very 1813 as you noted!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes, James
Cheers James.
DeleteLooks really good, Gary.
ReplyDeleteI knew I had done this one at sometime with FoB - way back in 2013:
https://blundersonthedanube.blogspot.com/2013/07/battle-of-mockern-october-16th-1813.html with a subsequent post detailing the game at Historicon and changes to the scenario. I might have to do this one again (damn, hat could mean panting up a few units of Artillerie de la Marin after all!).
Any further thoughts about FoB3 vs BC?
I still prefer FOB3 but it is very much a photo finish for 2 players. For multi player FOB just easier overall.
