We managed two games however I only took pictures of the second for reasons unknown !?
First game I used Army Of The Black Gate against a Dwarf Army (not sure which list) which was very one sided as my lot mostly needed a six to kill any Dwarf which proved very tough to do.
I had the Witch King in command but on a horse with several Warg Riders and a Troll (only he managed any kills) supporting numerous Orcs including a band of Urak-Hai, with Dwarves having lots heavily armed nasty little chaps with throwing weapons, swords and heavy weapons.
Second game I used trusty Minas Morgul list against Numanoreans.
I had Witch King again but back on trusty Fell Beast, a couple of Spectres, and loads of Mordor Orcs with a couple of Banners and a Drummer (who is not worth the points I feel) the Men had their standard foot sloggers with mix of spear and bow with 3 decent heroes including Isuldur on a horse.
This was a much closer and very bloody game from get go with a battle for supply objectives, but again my Orcs failed to outlast their enemies.
In other news local Ballyclare church has an excellent cascading Poppy Display (knitted work by local ladies) which was resplendent in Autumnal sun yesterday.
There are several displays within the church but have not got chance to view these.
Also my Dad found an old photo from his early army days, being from 1962 and his Royal Armoured Corps graduation class at Bovington (note the WW2 kit to rear).
He is happy chap in front row fourth from right sporting his Queens Royal Irish Hussars cap badge.
