Conflict Of Heroes: Price Of Honour
Arrived today, excellent. Usual high quality components and the scenarios look very interesting especially with the inclusion of the Polish units.
Update: Managed a game at my fathers last week playing through the first scenario. Interesting to see lowly PzII and Sdkfz222 in action. Polish infantry no push-overs in a tough situation for Huns. Really cool bonus to have the replacement unit counters for Awakening The Bear and a new complete and up to date series rulebook.

yeah, I'm hoping to pick this one up soon, as well.
ReplyDeleteI have the first one "Awakening the bear"
Also I cant wait, Uwe is doing a game with John Hill (the designer of the Johnny Reb miniature war game system) on Gettysburg, cant wait!!
ATB is excellent also and I highly reccomend you get Storms of Steel which as more maps, improved graphics (brighter/glossier) and rules plus it has Tigers :-)
ReplyDeletePOH has replacement ATB unit counters included but does require some SOS maps for some scenarios.
John Hill is credited in SOS as assisting scn design and good to see input from designer of the greatest invention since the wheel ie Squad Leader :-)
Gettysburg game looks impressive and lots of interesting COH expansions in pipeline as Uwe tries to take over the world and my bank account !! :-)
Hey Sgt.
ReplyDeleteSteve here, just got my game ordered this weekend and I should have my copy this week. :)
How goes it?
Steve
Hi Steve
ReplyDeleteHave only played first scn so far (forgot to log it on blog !) but just as good as other titles. The inclusion of the new updated unit counters replacing those in ATB is a cool bonus.
Check out the new rules booklet as a couple of major (both sides can have activated units at same time) and several minor from ATB.
Still playing lots of games :-)
