These figures are from Black Hat Miniatures in UK with just a couple of Essex officers in some units. British uniforms supplied as with mass mobilization in Prussian 1813 they hadnt stocks of own to equip units. Think the uniforms supplied were originally destined for POrtugese allies. With this and lots of Freikorps type units in the period their is a good deal of potential variety of unit colours/types in Prussian force of this period, one of its attraction for a newbie to the period like moi.
Very nice SGt S,
ReplyDeleteYour armies coming together well.

Very nice, what figures are these, I don't recognise them. I didn't know that the Prussians used British uniforms either.

Hi Ray,
ReplyDeleteYeah the Prussians received British uniform stocks in blue and rifle green as well as stovepipe for the 1813-15 period.
Great looking unit. Really well done.
